Ever since I did my 1 ton axle swap a few months ago my brake warning light has been on. I have bleed the system a few times. What could be causing it?

It is an 89 and my grandad said something about the prop valve, but I have no idea how to reset it or adjust it.

Well I have a 88 pickup and I to have the light on and was told there was a switch on there somewhere...lol
But on the older ones there is a rubber boot on the side of the pro valve (just follow the hardlines to it) and you should be able to puch it in and that should reset the valve...IIRC

I looked at the valve and I don't remember seeing any rubber boot, but I will look again.

    Thanks

Here is a pic of different styles of valves. Take your pic and see if you can find that switch /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
