Summit doesn't list it as working for my HEI 73 K5, any reason why it wouldn't work? For EFI only? If it would work, I'm interested in a coil and ignition module.

I think it would work, it wont work with my newer set upf (90 K5). It is the old style that it works with, which I would think would be yours.

What part number does it show that you need?

I was thinking of the cap/rotor actually. Does your coil look like the one in the picture?

Summit show it working for only 85 on up. I donno, does it require a different cap since the cap doesnt have to house the coil? Does it need one of them caps with the post sticking up through the middle? My coil does look like the one in the picture, 'cept for the ignition post sticking off of it. Man, I'd really like this to fit, so I could bump up my ignition a bit.

Actually the coil is the only thing that will work with the 90. I must have just got any extra one of those by mistake. The cap, rotor, and module are for the type of HEI where the coil goes into the top of the cap.

The 90 (probably 87+?) has the externally mounted coil like the one I am selling/sold.
