My Blaze is an ex-diesel truck so I don't have a stock breather to put back on it after swapping over to a gas motor. My problem is the aftermarket breather I bought goes out then down so far that some of my carb linkages hang on it...wide open...not fun , but an eye opener at 5:00 A.M. Where can I get an air filter and cover that goes either straight out or even out & up?

I know just enough to know that I'll never know enough.

Sounds like you need a spacer ontop of your carb, between the air cleaner and carb. I have one on mine, it's about 3" high and it kinda resembles a can but made for carbs......
    Hope this helps

what kinda of carb? I have the stock Q-Jet with an Edelbrock breather on top. It doesn't hang. Since you alreayd have teh breather, get a spacer like burt redcomended, I don't think they are expensive.

K&N have several different styles of air cleaner bases, check summitracing.com.
