I know a girl who like Bright Eyes

Never took the time to try them out though

I'm kind of jealous of them now

I should probably go beat up Conor Oberst

My wife just made me sit through another girl flick i can't even remember the name. All through this train wreck of a romantic comedy there was little snippets of song from "musicians" (thats giving them way too much credit), none of which i had ever heard of before. I watched the credits afterwards and they were all that indie crap, I hate that sh!t !

Lets all just make mediocre music that all sounds the same, Hell for all I could tell, the same band played all the music in that show, some chicky whining about something with some pathetic three cord wannabee powerchord and a timeless beat my three year old could keep better time! Anyway I hate indie rock it's all sh!t and soulless and no "feel" to it at all.

(Boondock now kicking the volume up to 120 dbs, Rebel meets Rebel) Speed metal kicks ass! Damn I'm sick of all the whiney sh!t round here lately, man up, just a bit!

True, but never discount the fact that sometimes something just sucks.

They don't really make real punk anymore , at least not for the same reasons anymore . The attitude is gone . The being different is gone . The hardcore mosh pits are gone ( the current moshing is so lame , and dare I say , SAFER ) .

Its almost the same as the hippies , who have grown up and now have jobs and children , and live in the 'burbs .

Todays punks only think they are punks .
