My windshield wan't sealed at the bottom left hand corner, and it was trying to tap it down with a piece of wood and a hammer, and it cracked...at least I'll fix the leak..ummm,...I mean, you should have seen that rock fly off the truck and hit it...!

Your deductible is more than likely more than you could get a new windshield for. On my 89 I got a price of 125 installed with them coming to my house. My 87 was 135 I guess because of windshield antenna.

Htiing the wood with a hammer. It actually worked for a little while...my deductable is $50 so it was cheaper to have it covered.

My friend broke my windshield last week. I know where you are coming from. He ended up giving me his '79 Bronco in return. It's a long story.

I am on windshield #3 keep having crack problems. Finally broke down and bought a new one instead of yarding it. Hopefully there will be no more problems

Just some advice the higher dedutible you have the lower the premiums. If you don't wreck alot I would raise them. I saved almost 20% by raising mine. Just my .02 Also had good driving record only one wreck when I was 20.

I paid $85 for my windsheild w/ antenae and tint across top, our '89 Sub was $80 w/ no antanae and w/ tint. Came to the house. Of course, this was after driving around for four years with it cracked (when I bought it).
