I have discovered a broken motor mount on my Blazer ('86-305cid). Any y'all out there got any tricks to make this this PITA job any easier? Also, any suggestions on a good aftermarket replacement?

Get the Polyeurothane mounts and while your at it get new tranny/tcase mounts too, if you don't replace the motor mount soon you'll crack the tranny bellhouising like I did/forums/images/icons/mad.gif

Cracking the bellhousing would suck!!!!! Thanx for the info. Wasn't sure that anyone made poly mounts for the engine. Any place in particular that I can get from, or will any parts store have them?

Off Road Design should be able to hook you up.

The mounts I got were called energy suspension, and got the motor mounts from the auto parts store and the tranny mounts from summit, so definatly check around for prices, because from one place to another the price can vary greatly....
