I have trailmaster's on my blazer and when i arrived home the other day from wheeling i notice my right rear shock was jiggling around on the frame. Then i drove it the next day came home and the shaft was detached from the mount, man was i pissed. So i remebered the year warranty and tryed to take it back the guy claimed that it had broken because of too much abuse. My buddys have beat the hell out of there trucks and never done anything like this. SO this irritates me. Anyway getting to the point can i weld the the shaft and mount together or not????

I'd first try and insist, and then insist some more on getting it replaced, because after you weld it you definitely won't be able to change it.

Anyway, depending on where it broke, I think welding will hold just fine.
