broken yoke

    like about a month ago i broke my yoke in my transfer case, it's already goten fixed though. my question is will the old one be ok if i put a new u-joint in it.

    Probably not. There may be a small stress point that will start to propagate into total failure. I would trash it or use it only in an emergency. My nickel.

    I wouldn't run that unless I absolutely had to. You could probably pick one up at the junk yard for pretty cheap.

    My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.
