Thought we should start a new thread to get the next trip set up. Plan is to run Grizzley in 17 Sep. Alos stay there for lunch and some awesome fishing. Coulc also take the easy trip up to Pomeroy Lake and checkout the Mary Murphy Mine. A run on the 18th is flexible. I plan on camping at the ol Hancock site. I should either be there on the 16 or will arrive early on the 17th. Not sure yet.

To all who are planning on maling this, chime in.

We'll be there. It'll be a good chance to test out the new sprngs, and take Liam for a wheelin' trip. Plus I'm sure some will want to do some fishing.

We will be camping with my parents in BV. :wink1: :D

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I fixed it. BTW, that was from before you knew when your parents were coming to town.

Well guys, I'm going to have bow out on this trip.

I need to get some little projects done - including a flat bed for Nick - and save some gas money for Blazer Bash.

Looks like I gotta pull one as well, guys. I just can't afford the gas and the time off work. (If they'd give it to me) Sorry! I'd need a trail not much further than Bailey to do so I could afford it, like Twin Cones.

Twin Cone would be a good one to do in the next couple of weeks. It is a great trail for seeing the aspens in their fall colors. Heck just running up there to Kenosha Pass is good for seeing fall colors.

    BV Wheelin'

Even though I'm just the shotgunner, I won't be along for the huntin' either! Going to GJ for grandaughter's birthday! See you all another trip! I found another FS road a little north and west of town, it runs toward Mt. Harvard. Nothing very difficult I'm told, goes to nearly treeline. That's about a 3500' increase in elevation over about 6 or 7 miles

Well, looks like it's just Rich & I going. Planning on leaving Friday afternoon sometime. Going to camp at the old Hancok town near St Elmo. Going to Run Grizzly, Maybe Iron Chest, Maybe Tin Cup. Kinda open at this pont. Anybody else who wants to come is more than welcome. Just doubt I'll get any cell reception up there.

BTW, a special thanks goes out to Inteceptor. He let me borrow his trailer so I could trailer my 90 K5 out for its maiden voyage towed by my F350 & camper.

I probably would if Dad & Mom were going to be home.

Besides, Nick is a real slave driver. I had to ditch my 2 classes last night to get where we are on the flatbed. So I don't know if he'll give time off for a trip to BV. :haha:
