    I have a 400 small block now and want to rebuilt it and put a few modifications to it should i get the tranmission rebuilt and should i just get a 350 4-bolt main.

    Noooooooo ! Stay with the 400. There is no good reason to get a 350 block and build it when you allready have a 400. I wouldn't worry about building the tranny until it needs it. You can build the 400 (with a few goodies) and it will have more power and especially torque than most people will ever need. I have .030 over 400's in both of my trucks and love them. My buddy has a big F**D with a 460 in it, and my little small block has put it to shame many times. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
