Who has done it? Any tips? Price/cost? Any links and info would be appreciated. It looks simple enough, but looks are sometimes decieving.

The most "bullet proof" rockers I've seen are on Marv Springer's rig.I think it'a 2"x8" steel beam.Check out his site...www.springersuspensions.com.

I did not see pics of his rockers. I know I have seen some here before, I just can't remeber who and can't find it in the search.

I've done it. So has Depdog. Depdog has a write up at www.off-road.com/chevy project Rock ready. Butch (user name) from Bent and twisted sells them. Look in the post for bumpers and Butch has a link in his sig. The come precut and capped ready to weld in.
some pictures in my sig of mine. I used 4x4 box. I capped them and use them as air tanks.

I've done what Marv has done. Mine are a little different but same principle. Protection and bulletproofing is the name of the game. Me thinks that there are some pics of mine on my webshots page.

I did this mod over a year ago. Very similar to Deps. That's where I got the idea from. Here are some pics:
    Rockers

    I used 3x3" Box 3/16" wall or 1/8"...forgot
It's a simple mod. PM me if you have any more Questions...

Thanks to everyone. I went to bent and twisted and that seems a little expensive, but I am seriously thinking about buying some and having them installed at a local body and frame shop.
