Hubby is making a bumper for me for Christmas/Valentine's Day and I found exactly what I want. Here it is:

Does it belong to someone here?? Judging by the windshield sticker, it just might. How in the world do you attach a bumper like this to the frame? This will be his first time fabbing up a bumper. We have an exhaust tubing bender and a welder at work /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif How's that for fringe benefits??

Thanks. You are my main answer man! And now I am going to hijack my own thread - hub wants me to locate a source for caps for the ends of the rocker knockers I'm going to make. Where are those available from? Any tips? I'm planning to do them within the month /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif My first time welding.... I'm excited.

I always make my own end caps for box tube. Measure the inside dimension of the box tube and cut a square plate a hair bigger and weld it on./forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

For round tube or pipe I trace out the diameter and cut it with a torch on the inside of the line...
