well, we're super tired after a long day of just hanging out together with no stresses or cares. it's been a great way to celebrate the anniversary and to celebrate the end of a term at school. we're just laying here in bed, drinking some wine and winding down for a day well spent. without further ado... here's a shot from our window of the lodge at Timberline on Mt. Hood. my truck is parked right below my window, which is nice b/c i've got a ton of valuable stuff in there and due to the weather, they recommend you don't lock your doors. (i'm making some cash transporting some stuff to tucson this week) so, since my driver side lock deal (the part that you push/pull to lock/unlock the door) is broken, it always looks like it's at locked height, so we left it unlocked and the rest are all locked up. here's a pic of our room a few more of the lodge... cool pic of the wife's wedding ring... that was my mom's diamond - she died 6 years ago. and finally... us hot-tubbing in the snow. and current weather conditions.... it's been a ton of fun taking all these photos, because the location is just ripe with interesting stuff. it's been tough tho, b/c it gets dark early on the mountain and i forgot to bring the tri-pod, so almost all of these are extended exposures, and i've had to find tables or chairs to steady the camera. makes for really warm colors tho!
