Just picked up a sales brochure, ca. 1977, for a Suburban *hearse* conversion, by an outfit that did hearses and ambulances. (Come to think of it, I saw one of those Burb ambulances at a junkyard once ... now, I would buy it, but I didn't have the sense back then...)

    Check out http://brochures.slosh.com

go to 1977, and the very bottom of the page. Weirdness /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

One of the local funeral parlors has an '87 or so Burb Hearse. It is black and gray with the typical chrome scrolls on the side. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

[/ QUOTE ]the rear door is missing a piece of trim.... HA! you'd have thought the photographers, and armbruster/stageway people would have checked for problems like that, before mass producing a flyer detailing thier product...

Dddddd-rrrr--dragon is talking about the 74 limo, not the 77 hearse /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

He's right, btw, nice catch -- *I* didn't notice, and I scanned the darn thing.

    Muddy, check out

Page 3 of the limo brochure

It also looks like the door doesn't line up ... but the guilty party is the passenger side rear door /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
