Brooke gave me the go ahead! Sell the Burb for $4500 smackers, and I get $2500 towards whatever I want on the Blazer to make it a relaible DD and weekend warrior. So spread the word Colorado Crew, and when I get rid of it, I'll be looking for direction from you all on how best to apply said funds!!! This is going to be fun.

I thought for sure you'd be stoked that I have decided to go balls out on the Punisher! Besides, now we don't have to dig into that A/C, etc.

As far as smacking me around, the last guy who tried that ended up smashing himself in the face with a wrench...:D

And I know no one can hurt you as bad as you can hurt yourself:haha:

Keep your eyes out for a 1-ton donor, $1500 price range usually. Steal the axles and part out as much as you can. You'll spend the rest getting the 1-ton axles in the truck, I can guarantee you that!

I'm not normally the type to say "you MUST go 1-ton!" However, I've seen your trail techniques, and YOU must go 1-ton! :haha:

Nope. Gonna stay 3/4 ton. Now that this will be a DD, my driving style WILL change. Also, I'm hoping that with a Detroit in the rear, maybe I won't need to rely on that dang skinny pedal...:D

If I had $2500 to drop instantly on my truck, it would towards a doubler or NWF Blackbox.

In your situation I'd be really tempted to get a NWF Blackbox, keep the 241, and install SYE. It'd be nice to rebuild the NP241 with some HD parts. Or if you absolutely didn't want to run the 241, you could probably pick up a 205. But I think in your situation if you clock the 241 and do a good skid plate to prevent dropping the weight of the truck on it, it woud work well.

But then I only say that because that's a plan that's been rattling around in my head.

This is what I would do with your money:eek1:

    Detroit locker for 14bolt 400.00
    Lockright 10bolt 300.00
convert ft end to 8lug 100.00
    4 tires 37 SSR or 38SX
can be picked up used in good shape for around 800.00
Sell your used BFG for around 350.00
Get some trail spares from pull n save (axle shafts) 50.00
Regear your axles to 4:88 500.00

WOW 1,800.00 and still have some cash left over for other things you may want:eek1:

I can help install all parts so that will save on install.

    Now lets go wheeling:D
