I had a great time! I hope your wife wasn't too upset at how long it took. I can usually do one in about 4 hours with help, but we didn't do too bad. It took 7 hours total I think. What's funny is that it took longer to get the rear ubolts off the drivers side than it did to the steering arm off /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I hope your happy with it!

Nope, for now a 5.5" tapered aluminum block I got from Colin (k5blazerus) is in there. Might go with lift springs this summer, just wanted to get this up in the air for now and evaluate the ride, plus let the front settle. Right now it rides better than stock FOR SURE, and I like the rear suspension rate (3/4 ton) so might keep the block. This won't be much of a wheeler so I'll see how much, if any, axlewrap I get and decide from there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Don't laugh, the S-15 I have been eyeing for the wheeler.............all it needs is a rear locker of some kind and mud tires and it would be a fun one to, as Josh said it best, 'bounce off some trees'. I have no intention of wheeling the Burb much...............Sand Lake absolutely, but TSF............don 't think so.

A bit too long by an inch or so, but not a biggie............nothing a little 4" angle grinder can't fix!
