Anyone remenber the Burrito's the schools served us as kids ??? I can't find them in any of the stores. I've seen them in deli's, but they won't tell me where they get them. I know they buy them in bulk, but I have no idea where to get them. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

The ones I remember were good !!!!! I guess it all depends how they're cooked.

The ones the district serves I work for look like someone poo'ed in a tortilla.... but as far as burritos go try buying the frozen kinds they sell at a place like Sam's, Costco or Smart & Final. Probably very close if not what you are looking for...

Fried burritos are technically "Chimichangas" (pronounced chimeechong-ga). Look in the store for those. We buy all them all the time.

The burrito's you had in school were probably US Government school lunch rations using "special" ingredients. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Try a local restaurant supply store, they will usually sell to the public.

I am sure you can find better
