BURT4x4, Xmember question

    Burt, I am going from an auto(th350) to a manual(sm465). i've heard different stories about the xmember. since I know that you have a manual, how far down does the Xmember sit with a manual tranny. I measured 5.5" from the bottom of the frame rail to the bottom of the Xmember. Could you take that measurement for me.

    Sorry for not replying I did not see this thread until NOW!!

    I have the stock two rail style xmember. I can take a measurment for ya. I would think they are the same. GM did allot of duplicate setups for the drivetrain choices. It all boils down to cost.
