    Hello All,

I've got the Bushwacker cut-out flares installed on my '79. I was wondering from others who have these, how much additional clearance did this give you for tires. It seems to open up the tire well quite a bit. What kind of tires are you running with them?

    Thanks,

I think with 4 inches lift you can run 35's and with 6 you can do 38's but you need 8 to 10 inches and cutouts to run up to 40's.

With 4" lift springs I can run 33" M/T's but when I went to 36" TSL Swampers I had to do a little more trimming. For the rocks you should take your flares off and if your a mudder or asphalt pounder then leave em on cause they help with the mud and look cool. Just my $.02 and you can see pictures of my flares and tires at http://www.goldrush.coloradok5.com .

I paid $313 Delivered from Summit. I believe that is lower than "List", but I also believe I have seen them lower other places.

    JCW sells them now, too.
