Finally had an offer accepted without someone else stepping in at the last minute with a better offer :doah: Missed out on one house with a 24' x 24' shop w/ concrete floors and 12' doors already up for less than $200K. But the house we are getting is bigger and closer to work on a 1/4 acre lot so there is plenty of room for putting up a shop. Has a small garage with concrete floors already which is an improvement over what I have now (portable garage in a mud hole).

Here is the spot for the future shop...

About an hour outside of Seattle on HWY 2... so I'm close to Reiter Pit for wheeling.

I think the Junk belongs to a neighbor... I'll nicely ask them once to move it. I can't be held responsible after that.

cool beans dude, hopefully you are using a state bond loan (if you are a 1st time buyer that is!)... pretty good rates these days. With 2 points you can still get 5.25%, not bad at all.

lol... look into the Accorn Program thru Bank of America. We are getting 5.5% with no points. 2 points will get us down to 4.5%. At least at the time we locked our rate in anyway. Rates went up about 3/4% since then. And we don't have perfect credit but we get rates like we have perfect credit.

B of A is the enemy though, I get cool goodies being a Wells employee. :thumb: In any case, I'm glad you got a good rate. Nothing worse than being stuck in a 30 year loan with a terrible rate. That **** really adds up.

There are other banks that use the Accorn program out there... I just don't know which ones.

They set the closing date for the 1st of March... Sold a car and a transmission last night so we have most of the expenses the bank won't let the seller pay covered :D
