Hello. My name is Matt. I am going to purchase a used blazer.
I am 18, and new to this. It is a '93 for $4000. It has 145K miles on it.
I need some advice. Is this a good deal? When I look at the car, what should I check out? Should I look for anything in paticular?

Thanx in advance for yall's help.

    ~Matt

ps: the link for the truck is here:

C'mon dude, you should be looking for a mans truck not a grocery getter! [IMG][IMG]
Seriously I had one [IMG] and after a year of wasted time and money I traded for my K5 and have never looked back!
    K5's kick a$$

Just my humble opinion, and you know what they say about opinions!

Matt, seriously though, just so you know, we're fullsize Blazer enthusiasts. Just because Chevy continued using the name doesn't mean it's a Blazer. It's like the Impala, the new one is a front wheel drive V6, you can't compare that to a '62 409 or a LT1 SS, just can't do it. Besides, it doesn't look like much of a deal. From the picture and the milage it sounds more like they're looking for someone to bend over, if you get my drift. Keep looking.

I would keep looking, unless that's what you want. I see fullsize Blazers (K5's), in the newspaper all the time for $3000- 5000 in pretty good shape. You can also find some good deals if you just look around. - Steve
