been shoppin cams on ebay and have seen a lot of guys selling used cams. this seems kinda wierd to me what do you guys think. i'm planing on getting a SSI cam from PAW. only 80 bucks for a cam and lifters. sure its not a name brand but i'm stuffing it in a high milage motor just for fun so i'm keeping cost down. anyway, would any of you buy a used cam???

    no.
you have no idea about the wear on it. It may even be completely worthless.

I've bought a few cams from PAW with no problems. I dont know why people are buying them off of E-Bay. Its like searching all over the junkyard for a part and then going to the dealer and buying it new for $5 more.

like everyone elae said.no way man.unless its still unused in a box it is a no go.why did they take the cam back out in the first place?blown engine,or not running like they planned probably. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif either way id never reuse a cam.as the cam is what really moderates how the engine will run
