I'm looking to buy a 79 Blazer. It has a rebuilt 350 with about 35000 mi onit an rv cam and headers. A sm465 and np205, 10 bolt and 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. It is flat black and no rust.It also has a pioneer deck and some speakers. How much would you pay for this? Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Any mods done to a truck dont really increase the value, in fact they often seem to decrease it because it has probably been used hard

3000 tops in this neck of the woods. Like he said. Mods usually make it worth less. That seems to be the case around here.

I would say mods usually decrease the "blue book" or amount you could get from a dealer for it. But....when I bought my Jimmy, I looked at it as the worth of the base vehicle plus the parts since that was stuff I wouldn't have to buy myself.

I'd pay 3500 to 4000 depending on condition. Just check typical things like frame cracks around steering box for tell tale signs of abuse.

Probably about $4,000 if it's clean is what you'd expect, but you can talk em down more then likely. Goldrush lives right there in Livermore. If that doesn't pan out you might PM him to see about what he knows of in that area for sale...
