CA duck season opens this weekend

    you right, sucks im missing some of it this year. Post some pics of your game. Do you see any/many harlequins?

    Its gotten so expensive and time consuming that I hardly ever get to go anymore.

    We don't have harlequins in Kalifornia that I know of :dunno:

    we hunt mostly mallards and wood ducks. What about out in Kali?

    They may not be where you are, but they winter in Cali.

    In Cali we get a lot of mallards, sprig, and teal. We get almost everything. Acording to Delta Waterfowl, more ducks are killed in California than any other state :waytogo:

    Here is what I bagged today. It's a Canvas Back. My buddy hasn't seen one of these out here in about 5 years. Duck season is slow out here this year.

    The first two pics are of out decoys and robo duck who brought my catch in. Would have been nice to get my limit today.

    Nice! It sucks that I had hand surgery and wont hunt this season. I want to, but dont want to hurt myself. Keep the pics coming.

    Have to wait until the weather gets colder there is not alot out there. I'll post some more here next month hopefully the ponds up north freeze and push the ducks down here.:D
