Heading there at the end of the month or the beginning of august to get some advanced training for my job in the patch....any members live there?
Would be kinda cool to meet a few members so i don't feel like a total stranger....lol. I'll be driving up in the chalet so i won't be hard to miss. Looks like the addy i'm heading to is 1700-715 5th Ave SW.

PM me if you live there or are on the route north from casper wyoming to calgary....

Paulie (CanmoreK5) is about 90 minutes East of Cow Town...and Max (Paxx here) is working somewhere near there IIRC. Demon44 and WhiteKnight are both in or near Calgary too...

With as little traffic as this forum gets i'd start pm'ing a few of those members rather than hope they look here.

Lol...everything on that end is sorted out...well maybe the california turbos i had put on 3 weeks ago wasn't such a great idea. Loosen a bit of umph and she heats up to 230 now with the a/c on. So when i get home the flow masters are going back on asap. Also the tiny bit of slop in the tilt column just became ugly after 1200 plus miles and i'm screwed as i did not bring the pivot pin remover or the lock plate depressor...getting to be a real challenge to drive her. Kinda like turn 4 in talledega and she wants to go towards the wall by herself....

Not to bad. Took a week off and went home to buy a new truck. The chalet now sits in the back lot of the casper wyoming chevy dealership. Gonna buy a tandem axle trailer to tow her home when i get done up here. Out on a job right now...nother couple days and i'll be heading back into calgary until the next job. Tis wierd to be driving around in a new truck...but i like it. Added a ram mount for my laptop and a Garmin usb18 with city navigator v8 so i don't get lost......

Congrats dude, that is a really sweet ride. How is life going for you? The oil fields must be doing ok for you with a sweet ride like that.

Luke....look in the photo gallery and you'll see a silver birch H4 just like mine.
Paul says he's hooking up with you this week after work....you 2 scoundrels gonna call me and let me know whats up....i'll still buy dinner....you to pick...

She is nice harley....and that duramax has some nutz. I wanted the cummins as i have worked on those motors since before they hung an ecm on them....but the chevy has a better interior and i am quit pleased with it at this point. The patch pays very good....very good. I have been in canada since the end of july training for the next level of my job......when i get back i should be equally as busy but i f'n swear since i am a contractor i am blocking off the entire easter jeep week to wheel and forget about work...for ****s sake this is the first event ever by ck5 i have missed. Not sure if the 79 is completeed yet but stephen said it was down to shocks and relocating the mounts. Then once my garage is finished i have a **** load of electrical wiring upgrades to do as time affords....just being my anal self in that department.

Still have to tow the chalet home from casper or find a willing victim to drive her back to colorado for me....
