Since I don't see anyone else posting about this (got an email about it). I'm guessing Florez is a flunky for the CARB. They're been trying for years to do it their way and to hell with the law, only Rep. Johansen put their tits in the ringer and made them play by the rules. Now they're nibbling away again. I'm all for clean air, but that is not what this is about. CARB is not our friend.

starting next year they are starting smog checks here in PA also.i dont think there is a exception by year of vehicle.so any vehicle on the road has to get a regular vehicle inspection and also a emmissions test also to drive legally on the road here.gonna be a PITA for me to get my truck to pass if at all.
