Ronnie Barrett is a true patriot, defender of the second amendment, and supplier to the U.S. Military, a.k.a., camel jockey ass kickers.

Ahhhnold Scharzenegger, the big Lib., bans the .50 last year.

Ronnie Barrett says he will not service or sell to any Ca. Police Dept. because of it. Good for him.

A year later he offers the CA. legal .416, and admits it's flatter and faster than any of his .50's.

Awesome. Why own one? Because you can.

I remember reading something awhile back about the LAPD either suing him or publicly defaming his company and then sending their .50 cal swat rifle in for service and he refused to send it back to them. I like crazy people that make cool toys.

This is how it works; the State bans a particular piece, the manufacturers develope a new load and load data and the guns to shoot it. You have a window in time to get that gun before its banned. Repeat. Simple.
Those guns also become short production run instant classics.:D
And yes, the Barrett .416 sounds cool. A Co-worker has fired one, says it hammers hard.

Actually it was. One of the departments brought one of their .50's to a community hearing on banning the rifles as a demonstration piece.

Typical "the government knows best", unfortunately, Arnold was supposed to be a Republican.

How can CA be so screwed up on so many things??? Get enough people together and the only common denominator is stupidity?

That's Barrett's letter to the LAPD(? didn't read that close) Police Chief, starts on page 2 of the PDF.

Everybody here is a celebrity, so their echo is louder than the ambient. The echo is reprocessed for sensation, so the environment becomes surreal.
A buddy and I were joking; high res. TV to look at high res. crap?:haha:
