I'm getting the itch for another guitar, but I'm not sure what I want. I'm thinking maybe a Gretsch White Falcon or Country Gent or maybe a gold top Les Paul. Can you guys post up your axes and lets see what you got. Give me some ideas.

Only bad thing is that a single guitar can buy A LOT of truck parts. It's all good though.

My kid just got an acoustic/electric Yamaha to go with his other two electrics. Have you considered an acoustic?

    Dude,
With the money and time you spend on that, you can just buy a guitar and learn to play it.

    Heres my wifes guitars
Top guitar is a Charles Fox SJ Sonoma. C fox are custom built guitars
Bottom pic is a Martin 000C 16 RGT Electric. Both my wifes
    Both are awesome gutiars.
I have a quilted maple Carlo Robelli Hollow body base and an Ibanez Acoustic. But I really perferr to play the harmonica and fill in on base when needed.

    nice dood!

to tell you guys the truth, i have been kinda wanting an acoustic, but i cant seem to bring myself to buy one.... yet.... i think the reason i want an acoustic is because i want that super clean tone you know? Johnny Cash styley.

Not knowing a thing about any of this and being completely tone deaf, I have to say that the acoustic/electric my kid picked out sounds great. All guitars sound dfferent no matter the brand....

If you want that super clean tone you want a Martin. Johnny played a Martin D-35.
Martin Electric Acoustic guitars are really nice too. The newer ones have a built in digital pickup/ processor . You can change the tone to be clean or soft, even make them sound just like a Stratocaster.

Gibson Gothic Explorer Limited Edition. Just plain love it, run it through a Mesa boogie Dual Rectifier half stack.

Don't have a pic of mine, but here's one off the Gibson site and a random Ebay shot that gives a better idea of what it looks like.

    Just got one!...

    I recently recived a Alverez RD10-BK Acoustic Dreadnought guitar as a gift a few weeks ago..:eek1: .It's a really nice guitar,though I think its a "beginners" type..

I cant play a chord,(or a note!)--but hope to learn how too soon..Haven't had it out of its box much since I got it--even with no job, time is hard to come by,not enough hours in a day...at 48,I'm too old to be a guitar God,but man,I'd like to be able to at least play a FEW riffs with someone like Rhonda Vincent!..(she said if I bring it to her fan club party next june she'll give me a lesson or two!). ..I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a cheap case for it..
