I just rattled canned it... went to this place up in Oregon called GI Joes and a Pep Boys and bought about $40 in primer paint. My friend Kyle and I did it in two days. Kept raining so we would have to wait until it was dry to continue. It was funny driving down the road half done and the looks it drew. We did it free hand... no cardboard or anything like that to form the shapes. For the pattern I used my pants that are camo and a shirt that are the same color... [IMG]

RGF is in Richmond,ME. and Surrey is about an hour and a half NE from me, nice area with lots of water.
Glad you liked my Blazer, just got the axle swap/fender trim done a couple of weeks ago.

My uncle Sam has done thousands of the camo paint jobs and has gotten quite good at it, I helped alittle though with the flat black around the fender wells!

    Tires are G/Y MTs 37x12.50x16.5

Till someone comes up with one. Try surfing the military sites and see what you can come up with.

That one is sweet! I seen it a little bit ago. But Im trying to convince the wife to agree to desert camo. It wont be a permanent thing, just for a while. Then again even if I got her to agree I dont know if I could get myself to do it! Taking rattle cans to a perfectly good truck is hard to do. I have minimal dings and little rust to contend w/. So having to sand it all off when I do the body and paint work, Which will be soon hopefully is not real appealing. As soon as I get the bugs out and Im not having constant problems w/ it I am starting on the body work and paint. I am shaving the handles, and putting in flush mount S10 handles down low in the doors, shaving the driprails and all the emblems and trim, and marker lites in the fender, smoothing the top and other misc. tricks that come up as I go. Then the paint will be an all together different issue. I have no idea what that will be yet. LOL! BTW I am a body man, so its just kinda natural to go this far on it. I will still use and abuse it, just wont be bashing it off any trees unless it is a total mistake, and if I do Ill just have to fix it. [IMG]
