I think its time I painted the truck... Half my truck is already painted flat-black primer color... and the other side is factory black paint.

I have wanted to paint it camo for some time, but can't decide what color combo to use. I have looked at City Camo (CC)and Concrete Jungle Camo (CJC). Both look interesting to me, but they are too similar to decide. I think the CJC would work better for me since the pattern seems to maintain a darker color throughout. But the CC pattern is cool too since it uses a light-blue/purple color which might be more noticable in public. The truck gets a lot of attention already, so I don't want to make the paint too obnoxious...

OR - if you think I am crazy for painting the Blazer this way, stop me now before I start masking out the glass...!

Check out the color patterns I am using as a reference at the link below. Thanks!

okay IMLAO i like the desert camo, but if you want to pick between your two choices i would pick the (CC) camo. but how much of your k5 is primered because that glossy black is nice and i'd hate to see, let's say 75% of that glossy paint coverd by camo IMLAO.

I just finished mine and really like the finished product. I started off with a flat black truck and added the pattern to it. Check out my pictures at http://community.webshots.com/user/ultimike4

Just so you know I patterned my truck of the following link http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Highway/3969/camo.html.I used grey for#1,black for#2 and white for#3. It was basically just a big paint by number truck.

LMAO! I was searching on the net for some info like that... Your truck looks great! Do you like the pattern as large as it is, or would you think that the pattern might look any better with a little bit smaller patches?

I went with a larger pattern because of the overspray with the light colors and the ability for detail with just a cheap spray bomb. If you had an airbrush you would be able to get a lot more detailed.

Sweet paint!!! How do you think the same pattern will work using Concrete Jungle Camo colors (White, Grey, and Black)?

Scooby Doo is one sweet truck!
