can a gm tbi be used on the holley projection manifold???

    i want a manifold for tbi that will bolt to pre 87 heads and have egr provision. the holley one looks like a winner but it says its only for their projection. here is the link:

    Never done it myself, but according to everything i've read, yes. They also offer one with an 87-up intake bolt pattern. Both have 2" throttle bores and are quite a bit cheaper than the edelbrock manifold.

    I think you can do it if you buy the adapter from carb to TBI.

    The manifold(s) in question are TBI manifolds (no adapter needed). They are called projection manifolds because they aren't CARB approved for a stock TBI application.
