can i change just the wiper arm posts ??

    my truck was a 79 and i got a 86 cab.i threw out my old stuff.and i used the old hood . now it doesn't shut on the drivers side.i need shorter posts. can i get just change those? thanks /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

    I had to replace the posts on my pickup, it was a ten minute job. It is easy to do. If the current ones are too high, try something from a junk yard - I paid 10 bucks for mine.

    Yes you can. The bolt that holds the pivots are different. Newer style uses 3, older used 2 bolts per pivot. The bolts on the passenger side of each post will line up, You will just have to drill 2 new holes for the other bolts.
