I asked around when I redid my interioir and I had to end up re-apolstering it. It was worth it though I have one of the only K5s out there with a black interioir.

    1986 GMC Jimmy 6" springs 3" body, 38/15.5/15 Swampers, 14-bolt FF rear, Dana 60 front, 1991 front-end.

There are products out there that they claim can be used on upholstered seats. Butt trust me on this. Your Butt will turn the color of the seat when it's really hot outside or when the seat gets wet. I got a book on upholstery at a car show and had my wife make some seat covers for me that fit really good.
Why is it that you can never find a decent set of seats that actually match the interior of your car anyway? I always find the exact opposite color of my truck everytime.

If it don't fit, force it.
