I'm wondering if i can measure backspacing of my rim. And does the tire have to be off the rim or can i do it with the tire still mounted? thanks allot!

Yes , you can measure it with the tire still on the rim. Just lay it face-down and use something for a straight-edge across the top of the rim ,then measure from that down to the flange where the lug nuts bolt up.Thats your backspacing measurement.
