or are they too wide? my roommate is about to lift his superduty and he wants 38x15.50 PJS but he wants those AXIS streetlock wheels with the red anodized bead lock rings and they only go up to 10" wide.

My FunBuggy has 38x15.50x15's on a 15x8" wheel.... Prolly not the best for even tire wear, but it'll fit! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I run 15" wide 42 TSLs on 15x10 wheels. I have no problems and they wear fine (tire pressure may need to be played with in to get the right pattern).

I have two set of 35x15.50 TSLs on 15x10 rims without funky wear. Your friend will be fine... I wouldn't go any wider. Thats actually the size rim that Interco recommended...

To check the wear pattern on those tires you can drive the truck on a flat surface through some water. That will leave a clear impression (of water) so you can see how the tires are coming in contact with the pavement. Adjust tire pressure accordingly until the entire tread patch is contacting the road /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

PJ's have a specified rim width on the sidewall. My 36x14.5x15 PJ's have a specified rim size of 15x12. You might check that out too.

i have 33x14'sboggers on my 350 super duty, on the stock rim's.they are fine.i ran 40 in. x 17's on 16.5x10 rims for 5 years. i did order 16 x 10 in rims for the boggers but they didn't come in fast enough so had e'm mounted on the factory rims. i'm glad i didn't get the 10in. wide rims ,those tires look to small on the truck as it is. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
