I bought some new 9000X shocks today and was wondering if I could run them upside down for eaiser adjustability? I have heard people say not to and I have heard people say that it was ok. whats the difference/

Zakk and Greg72 both run them upside down and have checked on it. They say it's fine.
4wpw tried to tell Zakk otherwise but I believe Zakk or Greg72 checked with Rancho. I'm getting ready to flip mine as soon as I have time. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I just got off of the phone with Rancho's tech line and the guy said that it wasnt recomended. he said you lose alot of the ride quality. I also called 4WPW, the guy I talked to said it was ok to do, but I would rather hear how you guys are running them, since you wheel your trucks.

I believe in one of the peterson's offroad mags where they compared shocks they said there was a certain type of shock that couldn't be run upside down. I think was the edelbrocks.
