I have a '87 TBI 350 with 180k and it always idles high. I don't see any adjustment screws on it and in all the manuals that I have looked at it says that the idle is pre-set and sealed at the factory. Would changing the O2 sensor solve this or a new chip? I was hoping that it could be fixed with a screwdriver, any words of wisdom?

Normal idle is between 600-800 anything more and you might have a leak (there isn't a way to adjust idle). Get a can of carb cleaner and spray it around the TBI unit where it seals to the intake manifold, it the idle jumps up a little then you have a leak and need a new gasket, which shouldn't take more than an hour and $10 to fix.
