Can someone show me the pinion side of there 14bolt or 60?

    I have a rear axle in a 70 blazer I JUST picked up tuesday...
    It if a rear 14bolt,8lug,diff is kicked to the pass side a little and the pinion has five bolts holding it to the housing....WHAT IS IT?I would throw up pix...But don't have any yet..

    Thats a 14 FF.
    Wayne..was that the one that tried to excape or was it the front axle that tried to get through the hedge/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

    That is a 14FF.

    what is the difference between that and a 60?

    I have never seen a Dana 60 rear in person.

    About 2" in ring gear size /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

    That is a 14ff 1 ton axle with the perchs moved and shock mounts off a van axle. Yes that is the famous rolling axle. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif I will try and get some pics of a D60 rear axle this weekend.

    hell My axle is strange cuz it's 56" wide from disk flange to disk flange....the pinion being removable and off to one side...Whats the point in these options in the axle?
