I have a set of weld wheels and when I bought them, I noticed one is slightly bent around the rim of the wheel. I thought to heat it up and bend it back, but didn't think that would be wise. Has anyone ever tried to repair one before?
    thanks, Brian

Check w/ a local body shop to see if they have a company they use to repair wheels. I know of one in Fla where I am but thats it.

Well I think Stockton straightens wheels.

But most B/S should know of a company that reconditions wheels locally.

I get all the excercise I need pushing my luck![IMG]

Yes wheels can be straightend but it isn't cheap. It's best left to a pro. My understanding is they have a machine that spins the wheel and checks the run out as they get it back into shape.
Pick up a Car and driver and in the back are a few places that do that sort of work or like the other guy said hit some high end body shops that work on Benz and BMW. They may know a local place.

It's not my damn planet monkey boy!

I am pretty sure Welds have a lifetime warrenty. Since they're forged aluminum, I can't see them being easily repairable.
