Can you put locking hubs on an IFS vehicle?

I don't think so...most are central axle disconnect. Even our Jeep with central axle disconnect doesn't look like you can put locking hubs on it. I might be wrong...but I've never seen a IFS Chevy with locking hubs.

Not meant to sound like I'm knocking the idea, I'm just curious; Why would you want to? To permanantly lock the axles and keep the hubs manually controlled?

Like Rene said, the front ends are centrally engaged. The best you can do is get a manual engagement cable to replace the electronic garbage for the front end. The front ends are set up similar to a front wheel drive car as you prob know. The axle shafts slide into the wheel hub and are bolted in. I have never seen and way to put a manual locking hub in nore do I see anyway it would be possible. You would never have to worry about the axle to wheel intergration failing usually unless the wheel falls off type thing..........The cable kits though can be reassuring. Check it out...http://www.jcwhitney.com/productnoitem.jhtml?CATID=37509&BQ=jcw2&_requestid=142854
