Heeps do it, I would just make some sort of a lip at the bottom so nothing falls out
from what I have heard, you need a lip to catch stuff from falling out.
Isn't that what my door rubber gasket is for?
Jeremy is right on the lip issue, that is why I made these...
if the gasket wasn't the same heigth as the floor, somewhere i think i saw or heard it has to be 3" tall.
if there is a rule about the lip height, I haven't seen it in print. I had a couple of pieces of 2" aluminum angle... drilled some holes and mounted it where the factory rocker panel trim used to be. Worked great. Didn't get pulled over...
I'd like to see it in print too - I've looked through the Oregon statutes - don't see it in there
