can you run stock shocks with a 2 1/2 suspension lift

    running 33's on my 87 and putting a 2 1/2 suspension lift on, can i still use stock shocks or do i have to get new shocks too match the lift?

    Normally you would have to get longer ones. If your shocks aren't stock or you didn't put them on, you may want to take them off and measure them fully extended. Then call up your local 4WD shop and ask them the length of shocks for the lift your putting on. If your not gonna off road it at all your stock shocks may be long enough for the street but will probably max out off road.
