I run my truck in alot of mud and was wondering if their is anyway of completely sealing the bellhousing of a SM465 trans so that mud does not get in it and grenade the clutch? Any input would be great.... Thanks

i had the factory plate that sealed it up. Just had a hole for the starter to go in and had 4/5 bolts holding it on. don't do a lot of mud but when it was here nothing got in.

<font color=blue>I dont know how to seal the clutch and flywheel part, but I lost a 465 this spring due to the trans itself filling up with mud [IMG]. I ran a peice of 3/8" fuel hose from the vent on top of the case through the shift boot and up the shifter.
