can you use the stock 2wd pitman arm for crossover

    the stock arm looks like it has a built it tie rod end. is this thing one piece or can i take it out? if it isnt salvagable, what type of arm do i use?(78-79 f150?)

    I have seen the stock pitman arms to have the tie rod end "built" into it also. I have never seen a stock arm without the tie rod end. My answer would be to use the pitman arm from the 77-79 F150 like you said. Especially if you have a lift kit, get the drop pitman arm from any lift kit supplier. This will reduce the angle on the drag link.
