    For you Americans.

Here are a 2 dollar coin(Twonie) and a 1 dollar coin(loonie) compared to an American 25 cent coin.

The dollar coin was nicknamed a "loonie" because of the image of a bird called a Loon on it.

The 2 dollar coin was nicknamed "Twonie" because we are a simple people and have better things to do than give too much thought about what we should call a two dollar coin. :D

Let's all go to Timmy Ho Ho's for some Timbits! We can roll up the rim and pay with looneys and tooneys, and go to TO and drink a forty pounder, and uhhhh... find us some puck bunnies?

    Those would be "rink rats"...

    :)

I'd be lost without timmy Ho's coffee, HNIC, etc...and nobody really likes TO (although the people that live there regard it as the center of the universe)
