Got a buddy with a 72 1/2 ton 2wd GMC pickup with a three speed on the column. He cant get it to come out of reverse. At one time somebody was able to go under the truck and hit something and it fixed itself for several years, now its back. I have no knowledge of these older trucks and havent looked at it yet. Just want an idea of what it could be under there /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

sounds like maybe the linkage is binding up somewhere.

3 on the tree's like to bind up the linkage all the time. You just need to go under there and mess with it.
