cant turn those big wheels, steering squeeks

    When I turn my fron tires i get a loud noise from the steering box i think. I have power steering( or had).
    I have 83 blazer , any idea? it has plenty of fluid and it seems to flow. please help.

    If it's a squeek, or squeel, then your power steering pump belt is loose. When we throw these big tires on it puts a much larger force on the box then it was stock. Once the belt is tight then you can do these mods http://westtexasoffroad.homestead.com/powersteering.html I did these and I can turn the wheels a 100 times easier then before. Depending on what size tire you have you might want to think about getting a frame brace, especially after doing the mods, and if you plan to wheel it hard.
