What do you like for tires ?? One of my best friends ia asst. manager at a local Firestone store, so I get a disscount on tires there. I recently bought some Bridgestone Potenza G009 tires on the daily driver. (2000 Oldsmobile Alero GLS coupe). I really like them. Pretty sure the El Camino will get a set also. Epinions.com

i work tires also. if and big if i ever got f---stones it would be top dollor ones. and no not because of the ford problem that was both there problem. just to many bad ones in my opinon. take a look at the off brands. some of them are made buy big name companys and vary close treads for 25-50% less mony as name brands. as per bfg hell ya on old cars and trucks . just look good.
