Its a part that's bolted on to the driver side of the carb. When the throttle returns, it pushes this a little knob type thing back in to make the idle drop back down.

Mine is kinda sticking and my spring can't return it back in. I press on it and it's kinda hard to push back in but it goes if I push it manually.
Can I fix it or do I need a new one? What is it called?

Sorry about the wacked out description but... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

    TIA

Is it, a electric solenoid type? If so it's probably the "idle speed up solenoid" for A.C. when the A.C. is on it drag's idle speed down so this compensate's for it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks, that sounds like that would make sense. If I don't use my A.C. is there any way to by-pass it?

Or leave it there, wire it to a switch, and use it for a high idle when crawling.
