Was driving up in the mountains the other day and I thought my tranny started slipping (manual 305 eng). Well, I kept going and now I think its the carb-are the symptoms the same or can they act the same when your carb is bad?

I do need a new carb-where in the Denver area is a good place to get one-I am probably going to swap in a 350 eventually so one that would work well with both?

    Thanks, Mico
